The first part of importing images into the archive is to scan the file system for images. This can be for a large disk containing images to single folder. What the archiver will do is to scan the folder or folders for images with file extension's' of known images types. These will be the standardised known image extension's such as JPG, PNG, GIF and TIFF in addition will include RAW image file extensions of camera manufacturers such as Cannon, Nikon Sony etc. once this is done a list of images will be created by the archive. This can be saved into a scan file or the archive will carry on to the next step deduplication.
The archive includes a feature to add or remove image extensions as needed. see
